The New India High School celebrated its 43rd anniversary since its establishment in 1981 with the Annual Function, which featured a unique theme chosen by the school each year. This year, the theme was Euphoria 2024, a Greek word representing a feeling of goodwill and friendship. The Annual Function is more than a cultural event; it serves as a celebration of life and aims to bring about positive changes in the students, focusing on achieving 100% participation.
The event consisted of 14 performances, each with a deeper meaning beyond simple entertainment, such as ‘Social Geeks,’ a dance drama addressing the impact of social media, and ‘Goonj,’ which highlighted unheard voices. The function united all stakeholders, including the school management, faculty, alumni, and students, under one roof to enjoy the event. Students and alumni who demonstrated excellence in various domains, including CBSE results, were honoured during the event. With every prop and makeup artist crafted within the school, the Annual Function provided an enriching experience for all involved.
At New India High School, we celebrate festivals to encourage social interactions, respect cultural diversity, and teach about India’s history. Students participate in events like Holi, Easter, Independence Day, boosting confidence and self-worth. Our academic system focuses on instilling moral ethics and values for holistic student development.
